la tormenta de arena.

Cesare Pavese once said: "Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it."

And that is the beauty of it: to escape the feeling of safety and experience things as if for the first time, because IT FEELS GOOD.
What I have learnt here is that it does not matter where you go, you just go, and discover, and observe the things that surround you, because once you do that, you wish you didn't have to stop. And that is, because IT FEELS LIKE LIFE.

And that wise J.R.R. Tolkien who haunted my dreams for too many years because I could not finish his books, described the truth as it is: "Not all who wander are lost."
We are not lost, not even close, it's just one day at a time.
